Susan Kedzie’s A THOUSAND PURRING CATS audience of young and old readers alike continues to grow. Some mature readers sharing the book has a cross-generational appeal of which Dr. Seuss would approve. The best quote from this past year comes from a kindergartener, who when asked, “How did this book make you feel?”, replied simply, “It made my heart happy!” A humbling and affirming statement for sure.
